Why I started The Planner Gallery
When I started my first year of university, the workload got heavier. Suddenly remembering what homework I had to do in my mind wasn’t good enough anymore. So I had to write down all my assignments in my planner. However, those standard planners available in the store didn’t cut it for me. Looking around on the internet I saw a lot of beautiful planners, but I couldn’t find one that suited all my needs (I’m quite picky haha). So I decided to make my own and that is were my passion for creating planners started.
I realised that maybe more people could benefit from the planners I made for myself. After hours of watching youtube videos on how to create planners, I felt confident enough to start an Etsy shop and sell my planners.
I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur, just like my parents. So I was thinking that if I want to take this seriously and create my own business doing something I love, I had to think bigger than Etsy. And here is the result: The Planner Gallery website!

Hi, my name is Shaienne! I live in the Netherlands and currently I’m studying at university. I am the owner and designer of The Planner Gallery. I’m a self-taught designer that launched this blog and shop in 2020.
